PEER OBSERVATION: A Strategy for Building Professional
Community
The Annenberg Institute has just released a video package designed
to help teacher leaders, principals, and district administrators
understand and use peer observations to build collaborative learning
and reflective practice among adults in their schools and districts.
The package offers suggestions for conducting video-discussion workshops
on peer observation as well as guidelines for promoting peer observation
practices. Two videotapes give viewers an close-up look at peer
