The National Turning Points Center, based at the Center
for Collaborative Education (CCE) in Boston, coordinates an active
and growing network of Turning Points regional centers and schools. This
network works together to implement the Turning Points model in schools.
It is Turning Points' vision that every school and teacher in the network,
drawing strength from fellow Turning Points educators, will serve each
student with excellence and equity. The network collaborates to create
caring, personalized, and academically rigorous learning communities that
are responsive to the needs of the young adolescent. Each year, new regional
centers and schools join the network and contribute to the ongoing exchange
and development of ideas, innovative practices, and useful strategies.
Network activities include an annual leadership conference, an interactive
website, and national network meetings.
